Pavers in Cape Coral live or die on the base. Sandy fill compacts unevenly and summer rain finds every soft spot, so a driveway laid on a thin base ruts under the first vehicle. BCQ excavates to depth, compacts in lifts, and sets pavers on screeded sand with edge restraint holding the perimeter, which is what keeps a surface flat through the wet season.
The published rate covers the standard scope: base, sand set, pavers, edge restraint and joint sand. Removing an existing concrete slab or old pavers is a separate line because it depends on what is there. Complex patterns, borders and inlays are quoted when you pick them, before anything is ordered.
For pool decks and patios we plan drainage so water runs away from the house and the cage, and we work around screen enclosures and equipment pads. For driveways we check the apron and swale so the new surface meets the street cleanly.
Every job is measured on site and quoted in writing. If the plan changes after the quote, the change is priced before work continues, the same way we run commercial installs.

Can you put pavers over my existing concrete driveway?
Sometimes, if the slab is sound and the finished height works with the garage and the street. Often it is better to remove the slab so the base can be built properly. We look at it on the site visit and quote both ways when it is a real choice.

Do you seal pavers?
Sealing is optional and quoted on request. New pavers should settle through a few rain cycles before sealing, and we leave care notes on joint sand and cleaning with the completion photos.
